Rand and Pyper playing at the Park!!

On Thursday Rand's favorite cousin/best friend Pyper came over to play!! After playing trains for awhile we had lunch and decided to spend the gorgeous afternoon playing at the park!! The two had so much fun playing and playing!! Thanks for coming over Pyper!!

Half Way!!

I am so excited!! Today I am 20 weeks along in my pregnancy with the twins!! It means half way there, hoping I make it 40 weeks!! This pregnancy has definitely been a challenging one, it has been so different from my pregnancy with Rand. Out of control hormones, throwing up, headaches, and now everything hurts!! I know it all be worth it!! According to Rand I am having Mommy's little princess and the boy is Rand's "liddle bruder". He is going to be a great big brother, helpful and kind!

Polite while sick. . .

Rand never ceases to amaze me. He is sweet, kind and always affectionate! Today, he took it to new heights! He has had a fever for the last few days and woke up this morning and said his neck and throat hurt. I called the doctor and got him an appointment. He had a blast playing with all the toys. He let the nurses weigh him, take his temperature. He was so good the whole time, but the ultimate was with the doctor. The doctor felt his neck and head and really checked him all over, ears, throat! He decided to to a strep test, which of course consisted of the awful swab of the back of throat!

The doctor had Rand open his mouth told him what was going to happen. Rand reacted with the typical scowl and gagging but kept his mouth open the entire time. The doctor finished and Rand said: THANK YOU! The doctor looked at him with surprise and said "Your welcome! I don't think anyone has ever said thank you after I did that too them!" Then Rand turned to me and told me "He is a nice doctor Mommy."

What two year old, especially one with strep throat, says that! The last time I had a swab I felt like crying and if I was a kid I would have!!

I am so proud of my son-He is just completely AMAZING!!!

I made it!!

I can claim that I made it-8 posts on what makes me happy! Yes, I know the last one was a day late-but better late than never!!

Today is a hard one for me. This day has been especially awful. I woke up to a horrifyingly dirty house, a list of phone calls I needed to make, and zero ambition. I think that I have smiled maybe once today. Just some days everything tends to hit and being pregnant and overly hormonal I end up bawling and bawling. And it always seems that these days happen when Dustin is not home and not going to be until late at night. So on this day of feeling down and like a failure-what makes me happy is my son.
He came up to me today, sat by me on the couch and completely out of the blue he wraps his little arms around my neck and says "I love you very much mommy!" and then gives me one of his awesome kisses!! On these days when my hormones are surging out of control he is the one that reminds me why I am doing all that I do. He makes it all worth it.
Another miracle makes me happy today-feeling the two little people inside of me move!! I am feeling more and more movement everyday-and each flutter reminds that all this discomfort and stress is going to result in something amazing happening to our lives.

Happy 7

I was supposed to post this yesterday-but I fell asleep!! So yesterday Bedtime made me happy! Dustin and I put Rand to bed just before ten so we could watch a movie! It was great! I am so happy that he doesn't throw a fit for bedtime. As long as we tell it is time for bed, tuck him in, read a story, he is set for the night!!

6 days of Happiness!!

Today plastic sheets make me happy!!! My son has been having trauma at night and wetting the bed A LOT!!! I am so happy that he has a plastic sheet on his bed to protect his mattress!! Now I get to do laundry all day. . . which doesn't make me very happy!!

Black and White Days!!

This has been a fun and busy weekend!! Last night we went to Pypee's fourth birthday party!! It was so fun-she was so excited about all of her presents! After the party David, Tonya, Dustin and I all went on a double date to see the new Star Trek movie!! It was a blast, an awesome movie!! When we got back to David and Tonya's house to pick up Rand he was fast asleep cuddled up to the kids!! It was so sweet, we couldn't move him and Tonya and David agreed to let him spend the night! THANKS!!
This morning instead of just picking up Rand and coming home we spent the day with Tonya and the kids, they played and played and we went to Black and White Days for some lunch and fun. Rand and Pypee got to ride the train and jump in the bounce house that had a slide attached! They had a ball!! Of course being the great mommy that I am, I forgot my camera!! I took a few pics of them playing on my cell-which I guess is better than nothing!! Here is a slideshow of their fun and a silly pic I found of my boy!!

Day 5

French Fries. . . Yes French Fries make me happy!! This pregnancy I have craved nothing besides potatoes!! Baked, mashed, fried, it is all good. But tops is French Fries. This week the best French Fries are at Big J's in Richmond. I had to stop and get some on my way home after a really fun day chilling with Tonya and the kids. They were just the best and they made me really happy!!

Happy 4

Today, two things make me happy-Thomas the Train and Hot showers!! A hot shower relaxes me and actually makes my sore muscles quit hurting for a few moments!! A shower is also the 5-10 minutes I get to myself-no kids, etc!! Thomas the Train makes me happy because it is thanks to Thomas that I can get those 10 minutes to take a hot shower!!

Happy 3

One of the things that makes me extremely happy is how well my son gets along with his cousins. Specifically Piper, Hannah, Seth, and Bugga!! He loves going to their house and playing with them. Whenever Rand goes to their house or they come over here they always get along and have a blast!! Both Tonya and I have noticed that it is no problem, and some days easier to watch Pypee and Rand when they are together. They just entertain one another and make our job easier!! This week Tonya brought Pypee out to our house while she went to help in Lyra's class and Seth's class. It was so fun and I just love watching those two play and get along!! It makes me happy!! Growing up I never had much of a friendship with my cousins, in fact there are a ton that I have never even met!! I am so grateful that my children can have friendships with their cousins!!

Happy Tag 2

Today I am happy to have my pets. I live in the little town of Clarkston. They have no limit on the number of dogs we can have. So we have Jack, our black and white mix, Zoe our momma choco lab, and Mojo our gigantic daddy choco!! We have been breeding the labs and selling the puppies. Everyone that we have sold to have loved their puppies, It makes me so happy to know that the puppies are making great pets and friends to many families. Last night I decided to let them in our house to visit and get some loves. We even let them in this morning too!

Happy Tag!!

Tonya, my sis-in-law/best friend, tagged me to blog about something that makes me happy, for eight days! It will be a challenge to post once a day given my recent blogging habits, but I want to try!!

Day 1

Today I am happy that I got to find out what I am having. I know it is a cliche, but I am so grateful to live in a country where we have great medical care available. This way we can find out the gender of children at 18 weeks. I am so happy that I am having a boy and a girl. Me and Dustin always agreed on three children and that we wanted at least one girl. I really feel that my family is going to be complete now. 2 princes and one princess!!

Today was a very long day! The most exciting part was my doctor visit. The doctor decided to do a quick ultrasound to check on the babies and we saw what they are!! It looks like there is a GIRL and a BOY!!
I know that the first picture is upside down, but it looks like a girl!!

On another note-I am so proud of my Rand!! Him and Dad were sitting in the parking lot of the mall while I ran into the store. Well Dustin had his motorcycle so he could go straight to school after the doctors visit. Dustin decided to ask Rand if he wanted to go for a motorcycle ride around the parking lot and this Rand's response "I can't Daddy, I don't have my helmet!!" I am so incredibly proud of him!!

A Rand Silly!

The other night Rand and I were sitting here being lazy and vegging out in front of the TV. Sadly there was nothing on worth watching. So for no particular reason we were watching American Idol, which we never do! I figured, incorrectly, that since it was "rock" week they might have some good music. So anyway we were watching it and Rand looks at me and says "Mommy, I don't like Merica Icol!" I laughed and laughed and knew at that moment he is so my child!! What is the saying "from the mouth of children come wisdom" Or something to that effect!!!!

Fun at Mcdonalds!!

On Saturday Tonya and I met at Mcdonalds for lunch and some much needed play time for the kids!! Tonya brought Seth, Bugga, and Pypee and Rand made four kids running around crazy!! They had a blast! Thanks Tonya!!

All Buzzed and Wapped Up!!

After Rand's bath tonight he asked me to "wap him up"!! So I did!


Before his bath I tackled him and "tickled" him all over his head as I "buzzed all his hair off!" The whole time I was buzzing his hair he was giggling and telling me that Tonna will say "You look cute Rand!" and Daddy will say "You are so handsome, Rand" and Hannah will say, "You look so cute Rand" and on and on. I heard over and over what Tonna, Daddy, Hannah, Aunt Valerie, Gramma, and Pypee were going to say about his hair being "all buzzed off!!

Jumping Rand!!

Today I decided to keep busy and bathe the puppies! Bathing 7 puppies by yourself is not fun!! I am tired! Well after bathing and drying all the pups I decided to take some pictures of them to email to their future owners and to put on my puppy blog. And you know I can't pull out my camera without taking some pics of my crazy two year old!! He was being silly playing with all the pups and then decided to show off his mad skills at jumping from the couch to the footstool and back to the couch! I have no explanation for his wardrobe, he was fully dressed at one point today-but you know kids, clothes never last!!
