Family Pictures!

A few weeks ago I was looking at my walls and decided that we needed new pictures, new family pictures. The twins have changed so much in the last year! So last week we got all dressed up, except Rand-I had a shirt all picked out for him but somehow I managed to leave it on the living room floor-oops! We went to Richmond where Tonya, my amazing Sis-in-law took some really neat pictures of my family and the kids! Here are a few of my faves!
My beautiful daughter!

I Love this one! She and that bear are inseparable!!

This boy would not stay still for ANYTHING!! He would have took off to who knows where!
My Rand!! Just a freaking awesome kid!
Another family pic!
After the tracks we went to a park!

Halloween

This year is all about Toy Story for Rand. His birthday party was a Toy Story theme, cake and presents. So naturally when we asked him what he wanted to be for Halloween he chose Buzz Lightyear! Grandma found this awesome costume for him and he was so excited to dress up and go Trick or Treating!

For the twins I decided to spend two days frantically sewing with many calls to Tonya!! (Thank again!!) I made Avie a princess dress and Jona a dragon top, complete with a lumpy tail!

These are from the night before trick or treating, hence the pajama pants on Jona! We put black sweat pants on him for the actual event! They are just at that stage where it is next to impossible to get a wiggle free picture!
It was a fun night! We took the twins and Rand trick or treating to all of our neighbors and then some friends came over and so I stayed home with the twins to hand out candy and everyone else went trick or treating! The kids (and parents) came home with baskets filled to the brim and warmed up with some finger and toe soup (baked potato soup) and some bugs, snails and worms in dirt and Swamp juice!

The rest of October was a fun time filled with things such as going to the corn maze with all of Rand's class mates and field trips! But here is a slide show of some of the silly things my kids have been up to, we even spent a Sunday afternoon playing at the park! The twins LOVED the slides and the swings!

This week I learned an important lesson: Here is why I do not clean or do pretty much anything until they are asleep. If I leave the room, things like this happen:

More sewing!

I have been going crazy sewing and sewing. I made Jona some more jammies, another set of fabric high chairs, Avie a Halloween dress, some leggings, and my fave--adorable skirts for Pyper and Aviendha.

I made him a couple different pairs of Jammies, but these are my favorites!!!
Avie in her Halloween dress! She is just too precious!
This skirt turned out so darn cute, I just love the ruffle, tutu style! Especially with those leggings!
Now here is my ultimate favorite! I saw some pillow shams that were just crying out to be a skirt. And I just so happen to have the sweetest adorable niece that the skirt would be absolutely perfect for!! And it is! I think that grin says everything! She was so excited that her and Avie have matching skirts, and of course the fact that hers twirls beautifully made that grin even bigger!!

The park!

We went to the park with Aunt Tonya and Pyper! It was so much fun, just chilling and letting the kids run all over! Jona wanted to play with the big kids so bad!!
Avie's cute ponytails!!
Jona playing with his shoe!

Running Rand!!

Sliding!
Avie is finally over her aversion to grass!
Time for a snack! Crackers, meat, cheese, so yummy!!!
Avie LOVES apples!!
MMmmmmm!
It was such a fun day! It makes me sad that summer is over and now it is too cold for afternoons at the park!!

Dancing fun!

All of my kids love to dance. I am starting to think that when Avie decides to walk, she is just going to take off dancing! A few weeks ago we had a blast listening to music and dancing!

My Dancing Princess!! It was way past bedtime, and why she was tired, she could still dance!

Rand is always full of the funniest comments! That kid just cracks me up!!!

A few of my Favorite things...

Jona loves to swing!!! He can hold on to the sides and swing for hours!
Aviendha has a foot and shoe fetish!! She is always trying to put shoes on! I think she doesn't want to walk, just because it will be harder to play with things using her feet!!
Rand loves to dress himself and makes some interesting outfit combinations!!
Avie loves to sit in the toy box!
And love her baby doll!!! Thanks Aunt Gina!
My bliss is when these two play happily together! They fight over toys, cups and Mommy like crazy! So when these moments of teamwork and fun occur I cherish every second!
My amazing Rand on his bike!

Jonathan's First Haircut!

My baby boy has the cutest hair! See how long it was on the top? It was perfect for pony tails and it even curled on the sides and back!
Those adorable curls!! I loved it!
But after talking it over with Daddy we decided it was time to cut it. Now he looks so handsome and grown up!! He doesn't look quite so much like a baby anymore!! sniff, sniff!
I was pretty impressed, he sat still, well as much as a 12 month old can!!!
